Established in 2005, Ignition are a three piece indie rock band from Co. Armagh N.Ireland. Their much anticapated first demo entitled "Cos There Is F**k All Else", was released to critical acclaim in 2006. Their musical dexterity and self compositions have attracted record company attention and gained them a major following throughout the UK and Ireland, and with such attention to date, the media have been forced to sit up and listen. NME definitivley, one of the best music magazines out there, have featured Ignition as one of the best bands in the UK, and described their music as having "traces of Nirvana, Oasis with Eddie Veddars vocal range." Also Vodafone Live Music Mag described their music as having "talent energy, and a sense of purpose."

They have supported some major acts, including The View and Alabama 3, most famous perhaps for the Sopranos theme, "Woke Up This Morning".They have also supported and impressed Peter Hook, whos pumping bass lines with the post punk Joy Division, and following the death of Iain Curtis, the techno rock of New Order, has earned him legendary status.

The band have already proved that there is an established fan base out there for their music, selling out venues wherever they play, and come highly recommended. As they continue to tour they are sure to dazzle a whole new breed of fans, who have not yet woken up to the Ignition phenomenon. Currently, the band, along with their manager, are in the process of negotiating deals with some major record labels in the UK, and are recording new material professionally, for future release.
Alongside this legacy of success, the bands music has been licenced to appear in an independent american feature length film called "Maybe Tomorrow", which is due to be premiered in Indianapolis on february 16th, and then scheduled for future release worldwide.
